What is Undergrad SAHA?
Undergraduate SAHA is an academic and social society open to everyone. We are dedicated to all things art history and archaeology! Our goal is to meet like-minded art enthusiasts, expanding undergraduate students’ networking resources and providing a forum to discuss art. Once a month we organize “Tea Times” where professors share juicy bits of art history and archaeology research and wisdom. In addition, we host a graduate student panel with the graduate SAHA to learn how to tackle the graduate school application process. We also organize trips to art museums and galleries, and started a newsletter highlighting the art-related events on campus!
We have a wide range of social events that includes salsa dancing, Art21 screenings, potluck dinners, and ice cream socials. We also take trips to various art museums including the Art Institute of Chicago and the St. Louis Art Museum.
